My Story
I founded Root Cause Coaching to help high-achievers land their next, best job—one that aligns with their strengths, values, and ambitions.
Not everyone gets to control the timing of their job search. Maybe you’ve been laid off, you’re burned out, or just know deep down that you’re meant for something more.
I get it. I’ve been there.
I’ve landed jobs in the middle of a recession and after a long career break. I’ve experienced the uncertainty of job searching—and I’ve cracked the code on what really gets you hired.
A successful job search comes down to three things:
✔️ The Right Strategy – Knowing how to position yourself effectively and open the right doors through strategic networking and targeted opportunities.
✔️ The Right Tools – A compelling resume, LinkedIn presence, polished interviewing skills, and the right AI tools.
✔️ The Right Mindset – The ability to navigate uncertainty, silence, and rejection with resilience, confidence, and authenticity.

I could tell you all the places I’ve worked—but instead, let me show you how I got hired:
I was hired after someone recommended me directly to the Hiring Manager.
I was hired by the guy sitting next to me on an airplane.
I was hired by a recruiter I chatted with at a career fair.
I was hired by someone who had listened to my podcast.
I was hired by a friend/contractor I’d previously hired.
I was hired after another provider referred me.
I was hired by a family friend.
Do you notice the pattern?
That’s right – connections.
80% of all jobs are found through connections.
Some of mine were people I already knew, but several were connections I intentionally cultivated. And that’s what I teach my clients to do.
Since 2018, I’ve coached hundreds of professionals across tech (Google, Microsoft, AWS, TikTok), healthcare (Optum, Vynamic), finance (Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, AMEX), and beyond (P&G, PwC).
I’m certified, accredited, and licensed as both a Life Coach and a Career Coach because I believe job searching isn’t just a professional challenge—it’s a deeply personal one.
Confidence, clarity, and mindset are just as critical as the right strategy and tools.
